Wine Tasting
Products to taste:
Aperitif:
Fino Andaluz
Manzanilla El Rocío
Wines:
Ivendi Joven,
Beronía Crianza,
Paternina Banda Oro
Beronia gran reserva
The activity consists of tasting the wines. This can be approached as a simple wine-tasting or as an activity where the group tries to decide which wine they are trying. In any case we will provide you with the details of the wines you are tasting. The group sets the pace, but the times taken are more or less those shown above. The activity is conducted in the following way:
- The group arrives at the restaurant, where they are welcomed and given instructions, in written and graphical form, as to how to approach a wine tasting.
- They will then be taken to the counter where the wines for tasting are laid out (covered with a serviette so that they cannot be seen if the blind tasting option has been chosen). Beside the wines will be the sheets with information about the denominations of origin and the wines to be tasted.
- Guests will begin by tasting the Fino and then the Manzanilla (sherries). They will be asked which they think is which.
- They will then taste the red wines, for which they will have three information sheets as the Ivendi, being a young wine, does not have one. They will be asked which they think is which.
- At the same time they will be served with the aperitif.
- Where a lunch has been ordered, they will then go to the table where they will be served with paella or their chosen main course, and the meal will proceed as normal.
Duration: aperitif tasting 1 1/2 hours, lunch/dinner tasting 3 - 3 1/2 hours
