Guide services

Different type of guided tours can be provided in South Africa; the profession like in many historical part of Europe for example is highly protected.

Driver-guide: in a mini-bus or micro-bus – up to 8 paying guest maximum

Guide in a coach: from 9 passengers, the guide CAN NOT not drive and guide at the same time, the need of a chauffeur driven vehicle will apply.

Different category of guides:

• Nationwide
• Regional
• Specialist field guide (battlefield, botany, farming, historical sight, Township, wildlife, ornithology, etc…)
• Meet & greet (mainly used at the various airport of the country)

A specialist guide or a Tour Leader coming from outside South African CAN NOT guide in the country without the help of a local guide – heavy fine will and suspension of our operating license will take place.
