3. Deposit Policy
• All groups
• until 30 days prior to arrival - 50% of the total amount.
• until 14- 7 days prior to arrival - 25% of the total amount.
• until 7 days prior to arrival - 25% of the total amount.
Should above deadlines not to be adhered to, the Liberty Slovenia has the right to release space automatically.
4. Cancellation Fees
• Cancellation Fees - based on agreement and the booked hotel
• General cancellation policy
• 30 – 21 days prior to arrival – 25 % of the total amount.
• 21 – 14 days prior to arrival – 50 % of the total amount.
• 14 – 10 days prior to arrival – 75 % of the total amount.
• 10 – 7 days prior to arrival – 90 % of the total amount.
• From 7 days prior to arrival – 100 % of the total amount.
5. Roominglist and meal arrangements
Should be available 7 days prior to arrival at the latest.
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS OR GROUPS BELOW 10 ROOMS
1. Rates
Prices are per person and per night and include municipal tax, VAT and breakfast. For further information see the notices below the price table of each hotel. Prices are net, exclussive of commission for travel agents.
2. Payment
• Eurocard /Mastercard, Visa
• 100% prepayment will be requested unless agreed diferently
• All payments will be by bank transfer or credit card upon agreement. In case of payment by credit card 4% fee of the booking is surcharged.
3. Cancellation Policy
Until 48 hours before arrival no cancellation charges, less than 48 hours we charge 100% of the first night. All bookings, alterations and cancellation are subject to written confirmation. In the case of "Force Majeure" the Liberty Slovenia reserves the right to withdraw from any commitment. No valid claim for damages can be made in this case.

Booking will be accepted as long as the service in question is available. Booking will be considered as confirmed only after receiving a signed reconfirmation - a contract - either by fax or by mail. The contract means that the client has accepted the general conditions listed below, mainly those concerning the price, cancellation and payment conditions.
CLAIMS
Any claim has to be communicated to our agency during the stay or within a maximum of 7 days after the departure. No claim will be accepted afterwards.
LEGAL JURISDICTION
Negotiation is considered a general method of solving problems or discrepancies concerning the fulfi lment of the contract. In case that the results of such negotiations are not found satisfactory by either of the parties, courts in the Slovenia are considered the courts of appeal and arbitration.
Revision fee
Revision fee of EUR20 per transaction alterations or revisions. A change of tour date or tour itinerary within 45 days of departure will be treated as a cancellation and new booking; regular cancellation fees apply.
Insurance
Liberty Slovenia strongly recommends insurance to cover cancellation charges, trip interruption, and accident and baggage loss. Liberty Slovenia accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of baggage or other personal property.
Refunds for unused services
No refunds will be made for unused services once travel arrangements have commenced.
Passports & visas
A valid passport is required of all tour participants. It must be valid six months after date of return. Your travel agent can help you obtain the necessary forms for passport application.
All passengers, regardless of the passport they hold, should check with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed. Securing any needed visas is the responsibility of the tour participant.
Health requirements
Tour members should check with the consulates and/or the local health boards for the latest health requirements.
Travelers who need special assistance
Any disability requiring special attention must be reported to Liberty Slovenia at the time of booking. Liberty Slovenia will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled tour participants, but is not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, lodges, restaurants, or other independent suppliers, nor any additional expenses incurred. Motor coaches and minibuses are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. We regret we cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on/off motor coaches and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. Travelers who need assistance must be accompanied by a qualified and physically able companion. Motorized scooters are unsuitable for touring.
Young tour participants
Tour participants under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult; they receive a 10% discount on the land tour price.
Accomodations
All hotels are categorized according to the valid legislation in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. Please note it is a standard policy that the hotel rooms are available for check-in after 3 p.m. Early hotel check-in requires a pre-night booking.
Air-conditioning
Although available at most 4 and 5 star hotels, conditions and use of air-conditioning abroad differs greatly from the other non-European countries. Many European hotels were built before central air-conditioning was introduced. Air-conditioning is often shut down at night.
Meals on tour
As specified in each itinerary. Meals are based on the hotel's or restaurant's buffet or set menu. In general, beverages are not included, unless specifically stated.
Transfers
Transfers are provided as indicated for each tour by car, minibus, or motor coach. If you deviate from the arrival and/or departure dates as stated in the itinerary, you may purchase the transfer service prior to your final tour payment date. Your arrival transfer is guaranteed for up to one hour from your scheduled arrival time in order to compensate for minor delays. Liberty Slovenia or the transfer company will not be responsible for flight delays, for any reason, beyond one hour from your originally scheduled arrival time. In case of a delay, whether due to flight delay or time spent reporting baggage damage or loss, it will be your responsibility to make other transfer arrangements such as a taxi. Transfer costs are not refundable and any additional expenses will be your responsibility.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in any public area.
Holidays
During local or national holidays, certain facilities such as museums and restaurants, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited or not available. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible.
Baggage
Porterage is not included in the price. Most airlines impose a weight and size restriction on baggage and will charge additional fees if these restrictions are exceeded. Please check with the applicable airline(s) regarding airline baggage allowances for your vacation program.
Not included in program price
Passports; visas; tips to your tour director, tour driver, and local city guides; laundry, beverages, food not on the regular table d'hote menu (these extra items will be billed to you before leaving the hotel or restaurant); optional excursions; and other items of a personal nature.
Photographs & maps
Photographs show places in geographic areas, but are not necessarily included in the tour. Maps shown on the tour pages are for general information and may not accurately reflect actual routings.
Safety
Please be aware that during your participation in tours operated by Liberty Slovenia, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft or other means of transportation; the forces of nature, political unrest and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Liberty Slovenia will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. It is understood that Liberty Slovenia will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken.
Responsibility
Liberty Slovenia and/or its agents act only in the capacity of agent for the passengers in all matters pertaining to the tour, whether by plane, rail, motor coach, ferry, cruise ship or any other means of conveyance. They shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss caused by neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the tour, or any hotel proprietor or other person supplying services or material in connection with the tour. Liberty Slovenia reserves the right to withdraw a tour, refuse to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour at any time, or to make changes in the published itinerary, whenever in their sole judgment conditions warrant or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of the passengers. All prices are based on tariffs in effect at the same time of publication and are subject to reconfirmation at the time of booking. Refunds for any portion of the tours not taken will be made by the operator on the cancelled portion, less the expenses incurred in the handling. All requests for refund of unused services, etc. must be sent to Liberty Slovenia and/or its booking agent, in writing, no later than 30 days after completion of relevant program. Liberty Slovenia shall be released from any liability under the guarantee to such participant who does not file a timely claim.
