GUIDED TOUR OF LJUBLJANA

We will go on a relaxed walking or biking journey around downtown. First we will cross the Three Bridges and the farmer’s market and take a brand new cable car to visit Ljubljana Castle. On a castle terrace we will taste a local aperitif. You can climb the caste view tower from where you can admire Ljubljana basin surrounded by Alpine peaks (optional). After the descent we will discover Old Part of town. We will enjoy its Renaissance and Baroque facades, decorated portals and vaulted atriums, squeezed between the castle hill and the Ljubljanica River, we will walk down the promenade by Ljubljanica river and more… Biking tour is a bit longer.

DAY 1: VENICE AIRPORT - PORTOROZ

Arrival to Venice Airport. Meet and greet with your tour escort guide and transfer to Venice port. Ride by Catamaran to Koper (Slovenian port). Transfer to Portoroz and check in in 4* Hotel. Dinner in hotel. Overnight.

DAY 2: ISTRA TOUR (PORTOROZ – PULA – ROVINJ – POREC – PORTOROZ)

After breakfast drive to Pula (2h drive). Meet your local guide and sightseeing tour of Pula will follow. Thetour will include also visit of Amphitheater Arena. The tour continues with stop in Rovinj (30min drive). First there will be the time for lunch in nice Mediterranean restaurant and after that light walk through the city. In the afternoon the final stop will be in Porec, where local guide will take the group around the city and to Euphrasius Basillica. Here the group will conclude the visit with wine tasting in nice Istrian wine cellar. Return to hotel (1 h drive) for a dinner. Overnight.

DAY 3: PIRAN

After breakfast light walk along the coast to Piran. Visit of so called historical gem. After visit free time in the afternoon. Dinner at hotel and overnight.

DAY 4: PORTOROZ – POSTOJNA CAVES - LJUBLJANA

After breakfast meet your tour escort guide and driver. Drive to Ljubljana. On the way stop in Slovenian Karst Region for a visit of famous Postojna Caves (1 h drive). The visit will include ride into the caves by electronic train and then walk through underground world. Lunch in Postojna. After lunch continue to Ljubljana. Check in 4* hotel. Dinner in hotel and overnight.

DAY 5: LJUBLJANA

In the morning sightseeing tour of Ljubljana city and in the afternoon free for exploring the city and shopping. Dinner in hotel.

DAY 6: LJUBLJANA – RADOVLJICA – BLED - LJUBLJANA

After breakfast drive to Slovenian Mountains. The first stop will be small picturesque town Radovljica. Light walk around the city. Continue to Bled – Alpine pearl of Slovenia. The first stop will be the Bled Castle from 11th century with gorgeous view of the lake with its island in the middle and surrounding Mounties with its peaks which hug the area. Visit will continue with so called “pletna” boat (wooden boat) ride to Bled Island – the only island in the country. On the island guests can visit the St Mary’s Church and ring the bell of whishes from the legend of “Sunken Bell”. Lunch in local restaurant and time for famous dessert – cream slice (“kremsnita”). Return to Ljubljana. Dinner at hotel. Overnight.

DAY 7: LJUBLJANA – MARIBOR - PTUJ - LJUBLJANA

After breakfast trip to Styrian Region. First we will have a guided tour of Maribor – the second most important city in the country. The tour will continue to Ptuj, where we will visit Ptuj Castle. Lunch in local restaurant. After lunch visit of wine cellar Ptuj with wine tasting. Return to Ljubljana. Dinner in nice local restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 8: LJUBLJANA – AIRPORT LJUBLJANA

Free morning for final shopping. Check out and transfer to Ljubljana Airport. Departure.

7 DAYS OF SLOVENIA AND CROATIA

DAY 1: LJUBLJANA AIRPORT – KRANJSKA GORA

Arrival to Ljubljana Airport. Transfer to Kranjska gora and check-in in 4* Hotel. Dinner in hotel and overnight.

DAY 2: KRANJSKA GORA – BLED – BOHINJ – KRANJSKA GORA

In the morning we will drive to the Pearl of Slovene Alps – Bled. The first stop will be the Bled Castle from 11th century with gorgeous view to the lake with its island in the middle and surrounding Mountaines with its peaks which hug the area. Some free time at the lake. Later we will visit Vintgar gorge, where river Radovna carved its way to the Bled lake. In the second half of the day we will discover you another Alpine lake – Lake Bohinj. Possible is also cable car drive to Mt. Vogel from which is marvellous view to the highest Slovene mountains and Bohinj lake. Return to Kranjska gora. Dinner in hotel and overnight.

DAY 3: KRANJSKA GORA – POSTOJNA – LJUBLJANA – KRANJSKA GORA

After breakfast in hotel check-out the hotel and drive towards Slovene Carst. First we will stop at Postojna for a visit of the world known caves. The visit will include ride into the caves by electronic train and then walk through underground world. In the afternoon drive to Ljubljana, where you will enjoy in a pleasant walk through the Old city core of the capital of Slovenia with local guide. Return to Kranjska gora for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: KRANJSKA GORA – VRSIC – KLAGENFURT – KRANJSKA GORA

In the dawn of the day we will drive to the pass Vrsic, to get embraced with the tallest Slovene mountains. After some time for photo shooting, drive to Klagenfurt for a visit to Minimundus. Return to Kranjska gora in the late afternoon. Dinner in hotel and overnight.

DAY 5: KRANJSKA GORA - PLITVICE - ZAGREB – KRANJSKA GORA

After breakfast drive to Croatian natural wonder – Natural park Plitvice. You will have a nice walk through the park. Some free time for lunch. In the late afternoon, return towards Zagreb. There you will meet your local guide who will lead you through the Old town of Zagreb. Return to Kranjska gora for diner and overnight.

DAY 6: ISTRA TOUR (KRANJSKA GORA – ROVINJ - PULA – KRANJSKA GORA)

After breakfast drive to the Rovinj. You will get a chance to know this marvellous little historic town. First there will be some free time for lunch and after that light walk through the city. Later we will drive to the Pula. Enjoy in the adventure to the Old Roman era during the visit of this important Istrian port. Return to Kranjska gora. Dinner in hotel and overnight.

DAY 7: KRANJSKA GORA - AIRPORT LJUBLJANA

Free morning for final shopping. Check out and transfer to Ljubljana airport for flight home.

DAY 4: ISTRA TOUR (OPATIJA – PULA – ROVINJ – POREC – OPATIJA)

After cheese tasting some free time for lunch. After lunch continue to Zadar (1h15min). Meet your local guide at the main bus station and visit of Zadar city. In the late afternoon check in in 4* hotel in Zadar. Dinner at hotel and overnight.

DAY 6: ZADAR – SIBENIK – TROGIR - SPLIT

After breakfast check out and transfer towards Sibenik, where local guide will wait for the group. Short walk around Sibenik including the visit of cathedral. Continue to Trogir. Lunch in local restaurant. After lunch nice walk through Roman and charming city. Arrival to Split, check in in 4*/5* hotel. Time for short refreshment and dinner in local restaurant. Overnight.

DAY 7: SPLIT

Visit of the Split with local guide including entrance fees to Diocletian Palace and cellars. Free afternoon for exploring the city. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 8: SPLIT – HVAR

In the afternoon transfer by catamaran to Hvar (1h15min). Check in in nice 4* hotel and dinner. Overnight.

DAY 9: HVAR - KORCULA

In the morning local guide will come to the hotel and walk the group around Hvar, Group will visit also Fortrice Walls. After sightseeing tour they will have some free time for check out and shopping. In the afternoon transfer by catamaran to Korcula Island. Walk to 4* hotel, check in dinner and overnight.

DAY 10: KORCULA-MOSTAR-SARAJEVO

After breakfast visit of the Korcula with local guide. Ferry transfer to Orebic and drive towards the Mostar (4,5 h drive in total). Lunch in nice local restaurant by famous Mostar bridge. After lunch local guide will pick up the group and take the guests around the city. DAY 11: SARAJEVO

DAY 12: SARAJEVO - DUBROVNIK

After breakfast check out and drive towards the Croatia. On the way stop in Blagaj for lunch - one of the best known Bosnian natural wonders, where is one of the largest and most beautiful river sources in Europe. Arrival to Dubrovnik in late afternoon. DAY 13: DUBROVNIK

Breakfast in hotel. Meet your local guide for visit of the city including entrance fee to the Walls and Franciscan Monastery. Free afternoon for lunch and exploring the city. In the evening driver to local tourist farm for a dinner with folklore animation. Return to hotel and overnight.

DAY 14: DUBROVNIK – ZAGREB
