KRANJSKA GORA – In the Julian Alps

Kranjska Gora (810 m above sea level), the scene of the Alpine Skiing World Cup races, lies at the foothills of Julian Alps in picturesque valley of Sava river, where many hotels, surrounded by green meadows and woods are situated. The village, placed right on the entrance to the Triglav national park, offers a great variety of long and pleasant walks or hikes in the intact and clean natural environment. It is vivacious settlement, among tourists appreciated during the summer as well as during the winter season.
