Torkla Inn, Korte
It has a reputation of being the most beautiful inn on the coast, built of genuine brown Istrian stone. It is located in a village Korte, 20-min drive from Portoroz. Interesting and romantic inn with a beautiful view to Koper region and Primorje hills al the way to Nanos. Its specialties are: home-made dishes, sea bass carpaccio, fresh fish, sole with truffles, fried goat, lamb chops, zlicniki (chocolate dumplings with truffles), home-made sweet dishes. It is know by its slow food dinners with 6-8 courses accompanied with the best local wines. Capacity: inside 90 guests, the terrace 60 guests.
Villa Andor, Ankaran
Villa Andor, sheltered by magnificent Mediterranean plants with a fantastic view of the sea, a beautiful stone terrace with an outdoor fireplace and an intimate restaurant within the Villa complex offers various enjoyments, interlaced by the harmony of dishes and wines prepared by the chefs whose refined instinct leaves nothing to wish for, even with the toughest of the guests. Restaurant Stara Oljka
The name 'Stara Oljka' (Old Olive Tree) hides an intimate message, typical of every mighty Olive tree. People have always enjoyed sitting and talking around the sturdy base of an olive tree, encaptured by the sheer pleasure of the shade of its leafy branches. Restaurant Stara Oljka, located on the main Portoroz promenade by the beach also offers the air of authenticity and homeliness. It has a secluded terrace under real olive trees. A rustical character to the restaurant where stone and natural wood decorate its exterior, reminds you of an authentic Istrian dwelling which is easily and instantly recognisable. It offers a rich a la carte menu of traditional home cooking.
Restaurant Tri Vdove (Three Widows), Piran
The fish restaurant Tri Udove awaits visiting gourmets at the bay of Piran. Sit by the promenade and gaze out at the sea as you sample a few fresh fish. The two house specialties are frogfish with porcini cooked in an oven and risotto with shrimp and porcini. On the very sea shore of Piran two family restaurants, the PAVEL and the PAVEL 2 look forward to receiving their guests. They offer international cuisine with the emphasis on the seafood.
