Bled Castle
Perched atop a steep cliff rising 130 metres above the glacial Lake Bled is a symbol of Bled and Slovenia – Bled Castle. The image of the castle forming a dramatic backdrop to the romantic island and the church on it has earned the resort worldwide recognition through the centuries. Castle terraces offer spectacular views of the lake and the island, down the Dežela area with Lesce and Radovljica and over to the mountain ranges of the Karavanke and the Julian Alps. The castle restaurant staff will make sure that you feel and dine like royalty. The highlight is dining on the castle tearrce overlooking the lake. Grand Restaurant
This prominent restaurant is a part of Grand Hotel Toplice. Located by the lake, it has a wonderful view of the lake, serves tasty local and international dishes as well as first class Slovenian wines. Entertainment and special events facilities are also available.
Vila Bled
Hotel Vila Bled is a hotel with rich tradition. It is the only hotel in Bled surrounded by a magnificent 1.2 acre park on the banks of the lake. The visitors can go for a relaxing and soothing walk through the park and admire dazzling flowers and majestic trees of more than When the region was a part of the Imperial Austria the Prince Windisch-Grätz built a beautiful mansion on the site of the present villa. From 1920 until the start of World War 2 the mansion served as a summer residence of the Yugoslav royal family. After war the villa was rebuilt into a presidential residence of the Marshal Tito where he hosted many important international statesmen.
Vila Preseren
The Vila Preseren is under the castle cliffs right on the shore of Lake Bled. This wonderful traditional 19th century Bled villa offers two boutique suites and six contemporary rooms, suitable for those visitors to Bled who wish to stay in a modern guesthouse right in the heart of the town, may their trip be for business or for pleasure. The ground floor of the Vila Preseren houses a trendy café and restaurant, which delights guests with a rich selection of fragrant coffees, mouth-watering desserts, selected dishes and top-quality wines. In nice weather, these treats are served on its sunny terrace overlooking the lake. The Vila Preseren may also play host to unforgettable events for larger gatherings.
Restaurant Labod
Restaurant Labod is located in the centre of Bled and offers a beautiful view of the lake. In a harmonious ambience of the interior or in their magical garden with a fountain and green chestnut trees it offers a rich selection of dishes à la carte and different daily menus. They follow modern culinary trends, with a special emphasis on healthy and light food. Their menus contain especially highlighted vegetarian dishes and dishes without milk or gluten. The sign of excellence is apparent also in the service of our hospitable staff. The restaurant is appropriate for different social occasions like celebrations, anniversaries, meeting with friends, weddings and business lunches. Capacity: inside 60 pax, terrace 70 pax.

Pension Mayer
In this restaurant you will just love tucking in to Slovene national specialities; in season you can try our "koline" pork and sausage specialities; alternatively you may choose a fresh trout from our local source. After dinner you can finish with homemade "skutini strukli", a delicious pastry dish filled with fresh cheese curd. Of course, if you prefer, our first-class chefs will prepare exquisite dishes for you from a wide range of international cuisine.
Murka Inn
Older citizents of Bled still remember, that this inn had changed a lot of names and owners in its a hundred year old history. Now it carries Murka. This inn offers a homelike atmosphere and food. It offers a wide variety of Slovenian national dishes such as cheese dumplings, barley soup, stuffed pork stomach »gorenjska style«,... Beefsteaks, steaks, and other »international« cuisine is also not missing. It also offers a wine cellar with top quality wines from all different wine regions of Slovenia. In the wine cellar they organize wine tastings for a maximum of 25 guests. On the large terrace they organize Slovene folklore evenings, live music or medieval feasts, they build a charcoal grill for all kinds of grilled dishes. Pr’Planinc Inn
The Inn and bar Pr’Planinc is one of the oldest inns in Bled. It is housed in an old building in the centre of a town, and has been in business since 1903. It offers Slovenian and international dishes as well as Italian-style pizzas and focaccias.
Lectar Inn, Radovljica
The country-inn "Lectar" is a very popular inn. It is located in the medieval part of the Upper Carniolan town of Radovljica, 15-min transfer from Bled. It offers a rich variety of local food and drink which you can enjoy in a very pleasant and appealing atmosphere. It offers great variety of vegetarian food. In the summer while having your meal in the shade of the old chestnut trees in the garden you can enjoy a splendid view of the surrounding mountains. Its popular owner will sing for you if you are lucky. You can also visit the house workshop of ginger bread hearts where they make gingerbread hearts according to the local tradition. After a good meal you can explore the inn’s prominent neighbourhood: Museum of Apiculture, 700 years old church of St. Peter, Sivec gallery and the birthplace of Anton Tomaz Linhart, Slovenian Dramatist.
Avsenik Inn and Restaurant, Begunje
Everybody in Slovenia knows about the Avsenik brothers. And so do many others beyond Slovenian boarders. The name of Avsenik has become synonymous with traditional country-style entertainment music. The Avsenik band records have been sold in millions of copies, particularly in the German-speaking part of Europe. Their family inn, located amidst all the natural beauties of Gorenjska, app. 20-min drive from Bled, has been around for even longer than their music. It dates back to 1865. Avsenik Inn and Restaurant, is famous for their home-style cooking. The most popular among cold entrées are the Avsenik cold cuts, served with Bohinj cheese. Guests love mushroom soup, consommé with homemade noodles or consommé Célestine, Begunje-style roast beef, Shepherd's lunch, Kosir goulash, Merry Gorenjc, veal legs, various medallions and an impressive selection of salads. Their a-la-carte menu also includes excellent boiled strudel with cottage cheese filling as well as numerous other, mouth-watering dishes. Their varied and delicious food selection is complemented by excellent Slovenian wines. The Avsenik inn – »Jožovc's« – is indeed a home of culture.
