Aquarelle Restaurant can be called a model of a "high-class" restaurant. The handsome three-deck at the Birjevoi Bridge is transparent as Aquarelle. If aquarelle paint is put on white paper, it gets lighter; if put on colored paper, it gets its tone and color. So this restaurant is changing with the season and time of day. The second-deck restaurant is stylish, exquisite, and respectable. On the third deck is the grill-bar with democratic atmosphere and prices. The palace of prince Abamelek-Lazarev happened to be the last buildings erected in St. Petersburg before 1917 Bolshevik Revolution. Only months later, it became no more than a splendid reminder of the Imperial Russia past glory. Located in the most magnificent part of St. Petersburg’s historical downtown, the building has retained its dazzling interiors. The palace has recently reopened after restoration, and is ready to host exhibitions, presentations, conferences, gala parties and banquets. It is very centrally located on the Spit of Vasiljevsky Island. The restaurant has voulted brick ceiling and rustic interior design. The menu features both European and Russian cuisine. Restaurant "PalkinЪ"

Restaurant "Palkin" is one of the oldest dining establishments in St. Petersburg which has retained its original name and location. Its roots go back to the St. Petersburg restaurateurs, “The Palkin Family”, (first mention – 1785). Later restaurant "K.P. Palkin" was the most fashionable in the city lIts regular clientele included poet Alexander Blok, scientist Alexander Butlerov, writers Nikolai Gogol, Fyodor Dostoyevsky & other famous figures. Since welcoming its first guests in the summer of 2002, "Palkin" has sought to revive St. Petersburg's traditional atmosphere of "bread and salt" hospitality that dates back to the close of the 19th - the beginning of the 20th centuries. A visit to restaurant "Palkin" is an authentic, proper acquaintance with the cuisine of Russian aristocracy, much of which has, sadly, been lost elsewhere.
