FULL DAY EXCURSION TO COMO LAKE

Set in an idyllic landscape of mountains and rugged hillsides, Como Lake has for centuries attracted visitors who come here for the beauty of nature and for all the historical villas and gardens like Villa Carlotta and Villa D’Este. The excursion will also include a boat tour along the lake.

A beautiful lake that expanse up against the mountains and stretches away into Alpine Switzerland. In the centre of the lake the delightful Borromean islands, mini-paradises named after the chief patron of the lake, Cardinal Carlo Borromeo. These islands are small jewels of natural beauty: Isola Bella with the 17^th century Palazzo Borromeo, Isola Madre and Isola dei Pescatori (fishermen). The Villa Taranto, on the outskirts of Verbania, houses an exotic botanical collection.

It’s a Guided tour of the San Siro Stadium (around 30 min.) + visit of the Museum located inside the Stadium with all the history of the AS Milan football team & FC Inter, with all the trophies and original shirts, life-size statues of Meazza Stadium (SAN SIRO).

A special Tour of Milan on board of the old original Vespa’s of the past. Each participant will be driven by the owner of the Vespa, participant will NOT drive the Vespa, as they are very old.

A Tour of Milan on board of Modern scooters, each 2 person will have 1 scooter and they will be guided by 2 assistants/guides. Scooters are 125 cc

PAINTING WORKSHOP

After visiting “Last Supper”, clients will be involved in a team building program with the theme of the famous paint just visited. The group will be divided in 2 teams and the aim of the game is to reproduce in the best way LAST SUPPER painting.

The scenery will be the meeting room of the hotel equipped with:

• 2 big canvas 2 meters X 80 cm
• 4 tripods for canvas
• 1 bottle half litre mineral water per person
• 50 paint brushes
• 25 aprons
• Paint colours
• Paint stripper and paint material 
• “Last Supper” Silhouette creation
• 3 assistants during the team building  
• 5 prints 35 x 50 of Last Supper to use as model

COOCKING CLASS

During this lesson a Chef/teacher will guide the participants to the preparation of a entire menu, a starter, a first and second course and to finish a dessert. Duration approx 2 hours, from 10:30 to 12:30, plus the lunch. The group will be divided in two teams

COOKING GAME “WILL YOUR NUMBER BE DRAWN?”

All participants are seated at the table… everyone will get his number. On the table they will find the menu of the dinner. The working area will be placed where everyone can see it and interact with the Chef-teacher and the Commis. The Chef will draw the number of the participants who will help him to prepare the dinner, and the Commis will draw the number of the participants who will serve the appetizer, then the first dish and so on…..

The participants whose number will no be drawn, will participate in the creation of a dish using the ingredients not utilized during the preparation of the dinner, of course with the help of the Chef. A jury (always drawn with the numbers) will estimate the best dish!

OLD CARS TOUR OF THE LAKE AREA NEAR MILAN

A visit to the Ferrari world: it begins in the space where the automobiles are on display. These are the cars that are part of Ferrari’s history and that have raced on circuits all around the world. They range from the single-seater in which Froilan Gonzalez won the marque’s first world championship at Silverstone in 1951 to the latest all-conquering F1 car used by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. A series of monitors and evocative images tell the story of the men, machines and moments that have contributed to the company’s glorious history. One showcase displays all the most important trophies collected in over fifty years of competition, including those held aloft by Schumacher on podiums around the globe. Lunch will be arranged at the Restaurant “Il Cavallino” located in front of the Gallery.. Our visit will also includes (only according to the availability), the WIND GALLERY planned by the Italian world famous architect Renzo Piano. It is a work of high architectural and technological value, inaugurated in the 1997. In this innovative structure Ferrari tests the cars inside a tunnel endowed with a system that checks the temperature. On a moving carpet synchronised with the wind speed the technicians could simulate each type of order and movement on the models.

TOUR on ISOLA del GARDA (2 hours from Milan)

DISCOVERING THE LARIO MYTH (1 hour from Milan)

A full day excursion along the Lake, including the neo-classical Villa Carlotta, one of the most beautiful Villas of the lake, with its botanic garden where in springtime you can see the blossoming of 150 different azaleas and rhododendrons. Later, we will visit Bellagio, known as the Pearl of the Lake thanks to its position between the two arms of the Lake and the medieval village of Varenna, on the easthern side of the Lake.
