Suggested Itinerary:

Situated 7 miles north of Jaipur with it's a honey-colored fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills, it can be mounted by an elephant. It has been described as "the sleeping beauty of Rajasthan". The sombre exterior belies the richness of the royal apartments which open on to striking views of the gorge. Then proceed to Amer Dera, just a few minutes drive away where you first enjoy a 40 minutes Elephant safari and then enjoy a private lunch in the gardens.

Pink City, Jaipur- Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) is an elaborate building encrusted with delicate honeycomb screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could view the world outside. Jai Singh's Observatory was built in the 17th century by the founder of Jaipur who, besides being a prince was also soldier, astronomer and builder. City Palace, now a museum, contains fine Rajput and Moghul paintings, rare manuscripts and an armory.

After breakfast set out for a sightseeing tour of the Suncity – Jodhpur. Its walls, seven gates and numerous bastions and towers were built in the 16th century by Rao Maldeo. In its maze of old lanes lie several palaces, havelis and some temples. The famous puppet makers of Jodhpur are found here. 393 feet above the flat surrounding plains soars a bold bluff on which was built the massive Meherangarh (Majestic) Fort. Visit the Umaid Bhavan Palace, Meherangarh Fort, On the road down from the Fort see Jaswant Thada, the blinding white marble cenotaph (chhatri) of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.

Afternoon drive to Ranakpur from Jodhpur.

On arrival check in at hotel. Later evening, get acclimatized to your horses.

Day 04: Ranakpur – Kotri

After having an early breakfast, start Horse Safari to reach village Kotri, stopping en route at the Marwari stud farm at Barkana. Barkana is a famous Jain pilgrimage center too and you may a visit and homage in the celestial school of Jains here.

After lunch, ride back to Kotri and pass through farming hutment and then follow a dry riverbed full of Acacia plants.

You will be glad to have a hot dinner ready for you in your tented accommodation at the campsite after the long ride of 33 km.

Day 05: Kotri – Hemawas

This morning start your ride to Hemawas, passing through many small village settlements. You will love to mingle with warm, friendly and hospitable natives on the way and you will see a glimpse of the true rural life of Rajasthan. One can see men rearing camels and wearing colorful turbans and women busy with their little ones adorned bedecked in heavy silver jewelry, veils and colorful skirts.

On arrival relax at the campsite by the lake side for a while.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure and explore the surrounding area.

Day 06: Hemawas – Rohet

After breakfast ride towards Rohet. Rohet - the fortified desert home of the descendants of the 16th century Rathore of the Champawat clan, Thakur Dalpat Singh I. On arrival check in at your Hotel.

Spend the evening watching cultural musical show followed by a traditional Rajasthani dinner.

Day 07: Rohet – Kharwa

Today we drive to Kharwa, which is famous for tomato cultivation. It also boasts of a big artificial lake and an enchanting fort.

On arrival in Kharwa, check in at tent. After relaxation explore the scenic beauty of Kharwa.

Day 08: Kharwa – Pushkar

After having an early breakfast start your horse ride towards Pushkar, the conclusion point of horse safari trip and it is time to say good bye to your horses after lunch. Check in at your hotel.

Day 09: Pushkar – Jaipur

Morning visit the holy town of Pushkar which is famous for its temples, one of which is Lord Brahma’s temple, one of its kind in India. Later visit ‘Ajmer Sheriff Dargah’, is the final resting place of the great sufi
saint - Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. ‘Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra’ (two and a half day shed’) consists of a quadrangle cloistered on all the four sides, having on the inside, a front screen wall of seven pointed arches. It is the finest and the largest specimen of the early Indo-Islamic structures.

After lunch drive towards Jaipur. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Evening you may visit the local bazaars of Jaipur, famous for its handicrafts and printed handlooms.
