Day 01: Mumbai
Arrive at Mumbai early in the morning, and transfer to Cochin. Alternately, arrive directly at Cochin international airport.

Your first exposure to this green state- will be via a Kathakali dance performance in a traditional theatre.

Day 02: Cochin – Periyar
This morning, visit the sites of Cochin – Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Stephen’s Church, Chinese fishing nets…. Take a walk in the Fort Cochin area, and thereafter proceed to Periyar – a journey of 5 hours.
Overnight: Periyar
Day 03: Periyar
Early morning, enjoy a boat ride to see the local flora & fauna.
The rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight: Periyar
Day 04: Periyar – Kumarakom
Mid morning, proceed to Kumarakom.
The day is then at leisure for you to enjoy the back waters.
Overnight: Kumarakom
Day 05: Kumarakom
Late morning take a boat ride to a traditional family home Philipkutty’s Residence. A great opportunity to interact with, and enjoy the environs.

Day 06: Kumarakom – Ketuvalom
Today, begins your adventure of discovery – along the back waters of Kerala.
Overnight: Houseboat
Day 07: Ketuvalom – Cochin
Disembark your houseboat and transfer to Cochin airport.

Begin with a morning excursion to Elephanta Caves, followed by a city tour visiting – Mani Bhawan, and driving past the University,High Court, Victoria Station, and the hustle bustle of this commercial capital of India.
Time permitting, visit the Banganga water Tank and life around it.

Arrive at Kozhikode airport from Mumbai, and proceed to your hotel.
Later, you may like to check out the Ayurvedic facilities offered at the resort.

Day 02: Calicut - Wayanad
Post breakfast proceed to Wayanad – situated in a charming Tropical Rain Forest.
The afternoon is at leisure, to enjoy the natural waterfalls, a huge variety of birds and you can enjoy long walks.
Overnight: Wayanad
Day 03: Wayanad – Palakkad
After breakfast proceed to Palakkad , and walk around in the local area, visit the local temple, and enjoy the environment.
Overnight: Palakkad
Day 04: Palakkad – Cochin
This morning is at leisure; enjoy your surroundings. Early afternoon; transfer to Cochin.

Day 05: Cochin
After breakfast in the hotel proceed for a half day city tour of Cochin – Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Stephen’s Church, Chinese fishing nets…. Then, take a walk in the Fort Cochin area.
In the evening , visit a local theatre to enjoy a Kathakali performance.

Day 06: Cochin - Munnar
Post breakfast, proceed to Munnar. Arriving by lunch time, the rest of the day is for lazy walks, or a visit to a tea plantation.

After a late morning breakfast enjoy a tour of Munnar.

Day 08: Munnar - Periyar
Today, proceed to Periyar – a game sanctuary situated in the hills.
This evening discuss what you will see the next day with the resident naturalist.

Day 09: Periyar - Kettuvalom
Early this morning, is the ideal time to take a boat ride on Lake Periyar- and catch the local flora & fauna.
Thereafter, proceed to Kottayam jetty, from where you board your houseboat – your hotel for the next 24 hrs, while you discover the narrow canals that form the back waters of Kerala!

Day 10: Kettuvalom – Quilon / Poovar
You disembark your houseboat this morning, and proceed onwards to a backwater destination.
Overnight: Quilon / Poovar
Day 11: Quilon - Kovalam
Post breakfast, proceed to Kovalam.
The rest of the day is at leisure to unwind and enjoy the resort and the beach.
Overnight: Kovalam
Day 12: Kovalam – Trivandrum
You transfer this day to the airport for your onward destination.
