Versailles represents a reminder of the grandeur of classical French architecture.

The extravagant decoration and layout of the entire site reflect the will of King Louis XIV, known as the Sun King. In the beautifully decorated State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors and Queen’s apartments) you will be fascinated by the life of the Kings.

From April to September, Musical Fountain display revives in Versailles Gardens. King Louis XIV ordered remarkable works to provide the fountains and the ponds with 1,333 gallons of water necessary for one hour fountain display.
