The Burgundy region offers wealth in both History and especially in art. Since ancient times, its geographical position brought great prosperity which as its famous wines magnified during the middle ages.

Region of famous abbeys, departure point for crusades and pilgrimage centre, Burgundy has attracted the crowds and political figureheads throughout the centuries.

Enjoy a day visit in the rich and beautiful land of Burgundy !

The day will be divided into two parts, into to aspects:

  • After, leaving the Southern highway, we reach the Serein valley at Chablis, the famous city surrounded by vineyards. Enjoy a visit in the Michel Laroche cellar and taste the prestigious white wine.

Lunch to the “Bistrot des Grand Crus”

  • We continue to the city of Vezelay in the "eternal hill", village classified by the UNESCO as one of its cultural heritage site. Then, we discover the basilica dedicated to Saint Mary Madeleine with a guide. This monument, centre of Romanesque architecture and sculpture, keeps some relics of the Saint. Finally, have free time to stoll and browse around the village and get the opportunity of tasting some red wines before returning to Paris.
