Tours Proposals

Heart of Paris 1: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th districts

We first take a long ride through the ancient narrow streets of the ‘Marais’. Then we arrive in front of the coloured Pompidou center, we cross the Halles and the Palais Royal, heading for the Louvre and the river, ending with the Islands and a glance at Notre Dame. This tour also starts in night time (Nocturne).

Heart of Paris 2: 5th and 6th dist.

Quartier Latin and St Germain-des-Prés, places we associate to the cultural and artistic life of Paris. First across the Latin quarter and the Luxembourg garden, then to the chic streets and places of St Germain-des-Prés. We conclude the tour with one of the ancient roman sites of Paris: the ‘Arenes de Lutèce’.

Paris villages - Unusual Paris: 13th and 14th dist.

A ride across the South of Paris, where the city bears the marks of fast changes, from factories of the 19th century to nowadays’ urban patchwork. Along quiet streets, trees and flower scents, we get to discover the hidden charms of the parisians’ Paris, with cottages, artists workshops and unexpected pieces of architecture.

Paris villages - Paris Contrasts: 19th and 20th dist.

The hilly ‘East End’ also displays, somehow disorderly, green spots and modern architecture. Canals and boats, small houses in green yards, typical districts as Belleville and Menilmontant oddly alternate with new-built residential ensembles or such bright novelties as the Parc de la Villette.

Paris villages - Paris Artisans : 11th and 12th dist.

Between past and present this visit takes us to the alleys where some of the craftsmen of furniture and home decoration are boldly keeping up the flame . Those workshops are often hidden in 'passages' out of sight, which we get to discover. We continue our visit in the New Bercy area, a former huge wine market and storage recently turned into a trendy residential neighbourhood.

Paris at dawn (Sunday 6am only)

Six am on Sunday, the only moment to take advantage of perfect quietness and ride to one of Paris’ most visited: Montmartre. With the slight whistling of our wheels, and the chant of birds, we see the colours of Paris change, as it slowly comes out of sleep.
