Bellevue Restaurant 

Bellevue serves superb Czech and international cuisine in fine, elegant surroundings. The restaurant is renowned by the culinary art of its two Chefs Petr Bures and Jacques Auffrays, featured and recommended by the Michelin Guide 2007.

Bilkova 13

One of the inconspicuous beauties of the Old Town is the BILKOVA13 restaurant situated in the former factory dated back to 1905 in the Bílkova Street that you will find right near Pařížská. The sensitively reconstructed premises admit their industrial nature and offer a stylish place for a business lunch, a romantic dinner, sitting at the bar, and a conference for up to 400 persons.

And what you will enjoy here? Mediterranean, mainly Italian cuisine the basis of which is homemade pasta, seafood, and vegetables and even traditional desserts are not missing. The menu includes, for example, fresh tuna tartare, tagliatelle with dried pork cheek, or risotto with lobster. The days of shrimps are added to the seasonal menu once a month on Wednesday when shrimps processed in all possible ways are served from the lunch time till night; shrimps with homemade mayonnaise, for example, are worth of tasting. Every last Wednesday of the month is beef Wednesday when the excellent South American beef is served.

A sommelier will recommend you readily the right wine of which BILKOVA13 has sufficiency to pleasantly uncomplicated meals. They import wines directly from wine-growers especially from Italy, France, and Austria and offer a wide selection of white, red, and sparkling wines.

BILKOVA13 is not only about high-quality cuisine, but also about architecture. Hot days directly invite you to sit at one of the cosy terraces, where you will find both shade and quiet. Klasterni Pivovar

The Strahov Monastic Brewery is located close by to the Prague Castle in the building of the Strahov Monastery, which was founded by King Vladislav II in 1142. The first documentation on the brewery come form the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. The decision on the construction of a new and fully functional brewery, where the restaurant is today, was made by Abbot Kaspar Questenberg in 1628. The brewery was closed in 1907, and the buildings were used solely as farm houses. The brewery was restored only three years ago, in 2000, during an extensive and difficult reconstruction of the entire complex. The current Strahov Monastic Brewery offers to its guests a total capacity of 350 seats in three peculiar environments the brewery itself, St. Norbert Restaurant and Brewery Courtyard.

Malostranska Beseda

Malostranska beseda, let us say the original Malostranska city hall, is late renaissance building in Prague 1, which is situated on Malostranske square No. 21 in the center of Mala Strana. The ex-city hall serve for many years as a social and music hall. Michal

The Michal Restaurant is situated in one of the oldest parts of historical Prague on the right bank of the River Vltava, only a few steps away from the stone arches of Charles Bridge. Three fully air-conditioned sections with a total capacity of 160 seats are situated on the ground floor. In the front area, which is used more for small snacks and refreshments, you can rest on comfortable chairs with a cup of good coffee or read your favourite newspaper.

The Municipal House - French Restaurant

Restaurant is situated on the right north wing of the front side of the Municipal House, which was built to create an elegant architecture icon of Czech culture. The project was designed by architects Antonin Balšánek and Osvald Polivka. The Municipal House was opened to the public on January 5th, 1912. Large windows illuminate an area of the Francouzska restaurant with "festive" light. The windows are originally decorated, equipped with double-layered winter protection screens supported by unique opening chain system. Restaurant's high ceiling along with walls are richly embroidered in stucco decorations - geometric ornaments with figural elements, designed by Frantisek Kraumann and his studio which cooperated hand in hand with other leading Czech artists including Alfons Mucha.

Massive crystal chandeliers with pendants, lined up in two rows, are the dominant feature of the ceiling. All lighting in Francouzska restaurant was supplied by the Prague company of František Anýž. Quality metal artwork is highlighted by handmade clock, located in the archway to the elevated part of the restaurant. Both sides of the archway are enriched by allegoric paintings of Josef Wenig. Majority of the restaurant's furnishing falls into early 1920's just as wall paneling, partitions of booths with leather seat covers, radiator covers and cupboards.

The Municipal House - Pilsner restaurant
