Bohemia Czech Paradise

The Czech Paradise is the oldest nature reserve in the Czech Republic (1955), located between Jicín, Sobotka, Mladá Boleslav, Mnichovo Hradište, Kopanina, Železný Brod, Semily and Lomnice nad Popelkou. In the east the region passes into the Podkrkonoší area, in the north it is surrounded by the mountain ranges of Jizerské hory and Krkonoše. The Czech Paradise is especially popular for many castles, palaces, romantic castle ruins, folk architecture and beautiful walks along many ponds and through deep forests. For their countless bizzare rock formations, rock towns or a rock labyrinth, the Czech Paradise is especially sought by climbers.
The dominant feature and symbol of the Czech Paradise is the ruin of Trosky castle. In the Czech Paradise it is possible to make many sightseeing tours, excursions, hiking and to visit bordering regions, such as the Giant Mountains, the Eagel Mountains and Prague. Sportspeople can use possibilities of cycling, climbing, hiking, etc. You can visit breweries where tasteful Czech beer is made and waits for you to be tasted. There are also many museums, especially the Skoda Car Museum in Mlada Boleslav, the third oldest car factory in the world. Excursions to the factory are possible if announced in time.
