One of the best Portuguese restaurants in Rio de Janeiro is Antiquariu´s (R. Aristides Espinola 19, Leblon, Phone 2294 1049) – it is also considered one of the best restaurants in town.

Another option of fine dining is Gero restaurant (R. Anibal de Mendonça 152, Ipanema, Phone 2239 8158) – Italian cuisine. Also a meeting place of the rich and famous.
